UTSA Graduation Portraits Cap and Gown Brother Sister
We started out early in the morning in order to beat the harsh sunlight since there weren’t any clouds. We set our photography equipment up near the entrance to the UTSA campus next to the entry signs, Mom wanted her graduates to be photographed in front of the University of Texas entry signs off of loop 1604. The images below are the result of the entire photo session. Well, not the entire set of images but a few photos that were my personal favorites.
Now as a photographer of senior portraits and graduation pictures had never done a cap and gown session on the UTSA campus before. There were so many great spots to take photos I chose places that would do everybody justice and not waster their time with places and spots that wouldn’t make a good story. The steps leading up to the rear building were totally outstanding. There was so much depth to work with to make stunning images.
As we went along I kept giving Mom a sneak peak from behind the camera. She was loving the photos I showed her. I saw from the look on her face that she was pleased with the expressions and smiles on her kids faces. She knew they were enjoying themselves. The end results was 178 images from the entire graduation photo session. Mom and kids will have a tough time choosing which images to enlarge, print and give what to each family member and friends.
